VALUATION MODEL FOR PUBLIC COMPANIES

The process of determination value of the public companies is one of the basic tasks solved by the financial analyzers. Solving that task shows either that company is undervalued or overvalued compared to current market quotes. Author's model for valuation of public companies presented in the article is based mainly on fuzzy logic instruments. Valuation of the public companies generated by the author's model incorporates the values of financial ratios and the opinion of the financial experts regarding valued company. Toolkit methodology includes fuzzy logic, survey and mathematical and statistical methods for forecasting time and trend series. The Model represented in the article is illustrated by valuation of the financial parameters of the public company “Toplivo” PLC.
